
Build Your Immunity
Please note that I am not a health professional and the following is based on my own research. This is being shared for you to consider, do further research and take the action you deem fit for yourself and your family.
In Covid, Dr Stella Immanuel, a Christian Pastor and Medical Doctor, strongly advocated using hydroxychloroquine to prevent the virus. She spoke out strongly and was supported by others but her video was removed by social media platforms as "misinformation". I recently saw another video where, again, she is promoting the use of hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin and future diseases to come.

I do believe that there will be further pestilences the world will experience because it's in the Bible and we have seen much even in the last 20 years regarding Ebola, Swine Flu, Bird Flu, Zika, Coronavirus plus others.
I researched hydroxychloroquine and we cannot get it without prescription in the UK. Therefore, I researched to find out:
1) What does hydroxychloroquine do?
2) How can we get similar benefits of hydroxychloroquine naturally?
3) What is ivermectin?
4) How can we get similar benefits of ivermectin too?
This article answers these questions.
1. What Does Hydroxychloroquine Do?
Hydroxychloroquine helps zinc to be carried into the cells of the body to stop the virus from being able to replicate itself in the body.
Zinc is essential for:
building your immunity
ensuring your cells generate new proteins which are vital for structure, function and regulation of body tissues. It is so vital in pregnancy, infancy and childhood.
wound healing and skin health
taste and smell - the enzyme that enables us to tase and smell properly relies on zinc. This may be a key for those of us who have not had proper taste and smell!
eye health - zinc slows age-related macular degeneration (retina damage causing blurred or lost central vision but leaving side vision in place).
Foods That Help Zinc Get Into The Cells
Please choose according to your individual health needs and preferences. Not everyone can tolerate everything even if it's labelled "healthy".
Onions
Especially red onions. This is a key source of quercetin. Quercetin is a natural plant pigment and reduces inflammation. It also acts as a natural antihistamine (treats allergy symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes).
Apples
Especially the skin which is high in quercetin.
Berries
Blueberries, cranberries, blackcurrant, cherries
Capers
These are small flower buds often pickled. Exceptionally high amounts of quercetin.
Leafy Greens
Kale, watercress, broccoli.
Please note that Spinach is now often not recommended for daily consumption for different reasons e.g. some find it hard to digest; for menopausal women it can cause extra heat; can be problematic for those prone to kidney stones, can actually bind to calcium and iron and inhibit the body's ability to absorb these nutrients. Spinach acts as a natural blood thinner so people on blood thinners need to be careful of their intake of spinach.
Dark Choc / Cocoa
Rich in antioxidants that reduce inflammation.
Often recommended amount of dark chocolate is 70-85% cocoa at least. Yes, bitter to some!
Green Tea
Contains catechins (you may see the initials EGCG). Green Tea is anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial (kills or inhibits bacterial, viruses, fungi and parasistes). Potential to protect the brain against Alzheimers and Parkinsons.
You may notice from now on that certain brands of green tea are fortified or blended with zinc to give the above results.
2. How Can We Get Similar Benefits of Hydroxychloroquine Naturally?
Since we cannot get hydroxychloroquine without a prescription, let's see how we can get zinc via our food instead. Again, please choose according to your individual health needs and preferences. Not everyone can tolerate all foods even those which are healthy generally.
Shellfish
Oysters - listed as the best source of zinc.
I know, not all of us eat shellfish - this is information.
Red Meat
Beef and lamb. The dark meat of chicken is also included (thigh and drumstick).
Seeds and Nuts
Pumpkin seeds are very high. Hemp seeds, cashews, almonds.
Nuts can be hard to digest for some. Nuts can also cause heat within the body causing irritation.
2a. Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-Viral Spices
Including these items in your daily food will assist your immunity.
Turmeric (Curcumin)
Turmeric is known for its powerful anti-inflammatory effects.
Black Pepper
Black pepper increases the absorption of turmeric by up to 2,000%. Just a little is needed!
Turmeric (Curcumin) is not absorbed well by the body by itself and breaks down quickly. Black pepper contains piperine which helps the liver slow down the metabolism of curcumin. This slowed down process allows more of the curcumin to enter the bloodstream and stay in the body longer.
Garlic
Garlic has strong antibacterial and anti-viral properties. It contains allicin which, in itself, contains sulfur. When garlic is crushed or chopped, allicin is activated and this blocks viruses from entering your cells. It also boosts your immune system.
Ginger
Ginger contains gingerol and shogaol. These prevent the growth of bacteria and strengthens your immune system. This works even when the cells are already infected.
Apple Cider Vinegar and Lemon
Apple Cider Vinegar is believed to support immunity by helping you have a healthy gut.
Lemon offers Vit C which supports immune function.
2b. Fermented Foods
Fermented foods support the gut barrier also known as "lining the gut".
These are probiotic foods - good or friendly live bacteria and yeasts.
Although they are bacteria, they are similar to or the same as the helpful bacteria already in the human body.
They restore balance.
They fight for space and food preventing harmful bactrial from settling in your digestive system
Kefir and
Natural Yoghurt
These are dairy foods.
Kimchi and Sauerkraut
This is fermented cabbage but they are not the same. Kimchi is usually made with a mix of more vegetables and is more pungent.
2c. Key Dietary Strategies
Some of the following strategies are well-known to us:
Eat the rainbow: consume a variety of colourful fruits and vegetables. This provides diverse antioxidants - natural or synthetic substances that protect cells from damage caused by unstable molecules produced during normal metabolism.
Combine foods intentionally: pair foods that contain zinc with those that help to carry zinc to the cells.
Limit inflammatory foods: - sugar, refined cabs (white bread, pasta, pastries, packaged snacks), fried foods, processed meat, alcohol
3. What IS Ivermectin?
Ivermectin is an antiparasitic medication used to treat infections caused by certain worms and parasites.
It works by paralysing the nervous systems of the parasites and killing them (de-worming).
If you research this, you may come across the official line that it is not to be used against COVID-19.
4. How Can We Get Similar Benefits Of Ivermectin Naturally Too?
The following foods and/or herbs are often used in treating parasites in humans.
Black Walnut, Wormwood and Cloves are often used together in a treatment - if you search for "parasite cleanse" on Amazon, you'll see the combination in several of the products.
Black Walnut (Hulls)
Black walnut is used because it contains tannin. This is a different tannin found in tea. The tannin in black walnut is believed to kill parasites.
Wormwood
This is known for it bitterness that can help flush out parasites from the intestines.
Garlic
As stated above under the "Anti-inflammatory..." section, G=garlic has strong antibacterial and anti-viral properties.
Cloves
These are believed to possibly kill parasitic eggs in the digestive tract before they hatch!
Neem
Neem is often described as the birth control of parasites. It hinders the young parasites from growing to the next stage of their life. It is believed that Neem sterilises the adult parasites, making their eggs infertile.
Personal conclusion
Without stress or strain, please do what you can to get and be healthy. For some of us, that simply means beginning to drink adequate amounts of water; get enough sleep. Without enough sleep we are fighting against ourselves - our responses are different, weight loss is hard, focus and concentration are hindered, your body is stressed.
Cook and eat intentionally. Eat knowing you are eating as a medicine that is not accessible to many of us since we will not be prescribed these medications.
Always remember the spiritual! Pray. Speak words of life over your body. Bless your food.
Do not over-extend. Do not try to do everything at once. If you are dehydrated, not much else will work. Start with the basics and continue.
